Accessible performances of Aladdin set to bring festive magic to more families.
Families can enjoy a magical trip to see Aladdin at the Floral Pavilion this Christmas, with two accessible performances designed to help more people enjoy the show.
For families who we know can struggle to find inclusive activities at Christmas, Aladdin is a great option for everyone. Sometimes, wider family can find it hard to think of gifts or treats at this time of year. Tickets to Aladdin could be the answer.
British Sign Language interpreted performance
A British Sign Language (BSL) interpreted performance will take place on Sunday 20 December at 5pm. During the show, a BSL interpreter will help people who are Deaf or have hearing loss follow the story, songs and jokes.
Join Aladdin, Princess Jasmine and the Genie on a magical adventure filled with laughter, music and festive fun. The performance aims to make the experience more accessible for Deaf audience members and their families.
Relaxed performance for autistic people and others who may benefit
A relaxed performance will take place on Sunday 3 January at 1pm. This performance is ideal for autistic children and young people, or anyone who may find a traditional theatre setting difficult.
Small changes will be made to create a more comfortable environment. Audience members can move around, make noise, and leave and return to the auditorium if they need to. Loud sounds will be reduced, and house lights will remain on at a low level throughout the show.
These changes can help reduce anxiety and make it easier for people to enjoy the performance in a way that works for them.
A panto for everyone
The Floral Pavilion wants as many people as possible to enjoy its Christmas pantomime. These accessible performances help make sure more families can take part in the fun and create special memories together.
