Am I a carer?

A carer is someone who provides unpaid care and support to a family member or friend who has a disability, illness, mental health condition, addiction, or who needs extra help as they grow older. It isn’t someone who volunteers or is employed to provide support. If you are providing care or support for a child, young person or adult with SEND then this conference is for you too!

You will be able to:

  • Hear from inspiring speakers with presentations and panel discussions in the theatre

  • Visit the marketplace of stalls and discover local support services, including 1-2-1 support

  • Connect with fellow carers

  • Take part in carer workshops

  • Have your voice heard

The conference will be split across 3 sessions over the day to ensure there is flexibility and Carers can access the event at times that are convenient for them.

  • Morning Session – 10am to 1pm

  • Afternoon Session – 2pm to 5pm

  • Evening Session – 5pm to 8pm

Carers play an essential role in our community— The Wirral Carers Alliance want to make sure you are supported and valued.
