The Positivitree wellbeing sessions are specially designed for parent carers of children with additional health or care needs. Your child does not need a diagnosis to take part—everyone is welcome, whether you're just starting your journey or have been caring for years.

Each session offers something valuable on its own, so you can attend as many as you like, based on your availability. While the sessions complement each other, they also stand alone—giving you the flexibility to benefit in a way that works for you.

Theory  Of Gratitude

Gratitude is the practice of recognising and appreciating the positive aspects of life. It is an important part of well-being, fostering happiness and contentment. We can be grateful for simple things like relationships, health, nature, or opportunities. You can practise gratitude by reflecting on it. One way is to write a Reflective Poem. You can also create a Gratitude Flower Jar or list the first five things you’re thankful for. Practising gratitude often can improve mental health. It can also strengthen relationships and promote a positive mindset.

If anything changes after booking, we kindly ask that you let us know as soon as possible, so we can offer your place to another parent-carer.

Sessions are facilitated by members of The Positivitree team, all of whom bring lived experience alongside professional wellbeing skills, creating a warm, understanding and non-judgemental space.
