CCB Mental Health provides training, support and education to help improve understanding of mental health and additional needs.

The organisation works with families, schools and communities to help people gain knowledge, confidence and practical skills.

This training session helps parents and carers understand sensory processing and how it can affect children and young people.

Children can be over-sensitive or under-sensitive to things like sounds, lights, touch, smells, or movement. The session will explain why this happens and how it can affect daily life, learning, and behaviour.

Families will learn simple strategies to help children feel calm, comfortable, and ready to join in at home, school, and in the community. There will also be time to ask questions and share ideas.
