Applications Now Open! Become a Member of Youth Parliament for Wirral
Young people in Wirral now have the chance to make their voices heard. Applications are open for the UK Youth Parliament (UKYP) 2025/26. This is a great opportunity for anyone aged 11 to 17 who wants to speak up for young people and help shape decisions that matter.
What is the UK Youth Parliament?
The UK Youth Parliament gives young people a platform to share their views and influence change. Members represent their local area and work on issues that affect young people across the country. They take part in debates, campaigns, and events – including speaking in the House of Commons.
What roles are available?
There are two Member of Youth Parliament (MYP) positions and two Deputy MYP positions for Wirral. If you are passionate about making a difference, this is your chance to lead and represent your peers.
Even if you are not elected, you can still join Wirral Youth Voice. This group offers free events, skills training, and more opportunities to get involved. There is also SEND Youth Voice, and being a member of Youth Parliament is open to everyone.
