Share your views to help improve SEND services in Wirral
Parents, carers and young people in Wirral are invited to take part in the Annual SEND Survey. The survey helps improve services for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). It gives families and young people a chance to say what works well and what needs to improve.
Why your views matter
Wirral’s Local Area SEND Partnership runs the survey. This partnership brings together education, health and care services. These organisations work together to support children and young people with SEND.
Your feedback will help show:
what families experience day to day
whether recent changes are making a difference
where more support is needed
This helps services plan better and focus on what matters most to families.
Two surveys designed with families
There are two surveys:
one for parents and carers
one for children and young people with SEND
Families and young people helped design the surveys. This makes sure the questions are clear and focus on real experiences. Both surveys will be available in Easy Read next week.
Young people can share their views in a way that works for them. Parents and carers can speak openly about the support their family receives.
What if I need help to do a survey?
Support will be available at SENDLO Drop-Ins across the borough over the 12 weeks the survey is running. All of the dates, times and venues are on the survey page and What’s On.
What happens next
All responses will be:
carefully analysed
published on the SENDLO website
shared with education, health and social care services
This supports openness and transparency. It also helps services understand what needs to change.
Take part and have your say
By taking part, you help shape how SEND services develop in Wirral now and in the future. Got to Wirral’s Annual SEND Survey page to find out how you can take part.
