Wirral represented in the National Diversity Awards 2025

We wanted to share some good news with you…Wirral is a relatively small place. However, we are pleased to report that the borough has four nominees for this year’s National Diversity Awards!

Wirral is represented in two SEND-related categories. The nominees have all been recognised for their exceptional contributions to promoting diversity and inclusion across the borough.  

What are the awards all about?

The National Diversity Awards (NDA) is celebrating its 14th year. The NDA recognise the incredible achievements of:

  • individuals

  • community organisations

  • role models

  • entrepreneurs

  • celebrities

The nominees strive to promote diversity and inclusion in all its forms. They shine a spotlight on the unsung heroes of our communities. And they showcase the power of diversity in shaping a brighter, more inclusive future.

Community Organisation Award for Disability Category

The Positivitree and COSMOS Wirral are nominated in this category. These outstanding parent/carer-led organisations work hard to support SEND families in Wirral.

Positive Role Model for Disability Category

Wirral has two nominees in this category. This category recognises the work of individuals who go above and beyond.
