What’s on

Welcome to ‘What’s ON’. Here you will find training, activities and support groups for parents, carers, and children and young people.

Use the calendar to find events on a certain date. Hover the mouse on a date and it will expand to give you more information about all events that date. A side scroll bar will appear for you to scroll through them.

Below the calendar every event is listed in date order. If you don’t have a date in mind you can scroll through to find an activity.

Click on an event in the calendar or the list. It will open to show all the information you need to attend.

Primary Summer Stress Buster SENDLO Marketplace

Who is this for: All Wirral parents and carers of SEND young people in primary schools.

Cost: FREE

Booking: Drop-in

The summer holidays can be a challenge for many of our SEND young people. Different routines, not seeing friends as much, uncertainty about the changes in September.

Annie Grady and Sally Tittle have drawn on their lived experience as parent carers and brought together services and community organisations that can help. The idea is to equip parents and carers with ideas and strategies to support anxious SEND children. You can explore the support that is available over the summer for you as parents carers too.

We will be joined by;

Mental Health Support Team

Assistant Educational Psychologists

Inclusion Team

SENDSTART

Early Years Team

The Positivitree

The Hive

Koala Northwest

Family Toolbox

COSMOS

SEND Partnership (SENDIASS)

Merseyside Police

There will be some short introductions/talks at 9:10 and 10:10. Visitors are then free to wander the marketplace and talk to all the services.
