There is still time to have your say on SEND services in Wirral

Parents, carers, children and young people are being reminded that there is still time to take part in the Annual SEND Survey 2026.

‍The survey is open until 20 July 2026 and is an opportunity for families and young people to share their experiences of SEND services in Wirral.

Feedback will help partners across education, health and care understand what is working well, where improvements are needed and what matters most to children, young people and families.

There are two surveys available:

  • A survey for parents and carers

  • A survey for children and young people with SEND

The surveys have been developed with families and young people to reflect their real experiences and priorities.

All responses will be reviewed and analysed. A summary of the findings will be shared on SENDLO and will help inform future SEND improvement work across Wirral.

Councillor Stephen Bennett, Chair of the Children, Young People and Education Committee, said:

‍ ‍ “We know families and young people are often asked for feedback, so it is important that this survey feels worthwhile and meaningful. This is a real opportunity for people to tell us honestly about their experiences of SEND services in Wirral — what is working, what still needs to improve, and what matters most to them.”

“Every response helps us build a clearer picture of how services are being experienced across education, health and care. If you have not taken part yet, there is still time to have your say before the survey closes on 20 July.”

The survey forms part of Wirral's ongoing SEND improvement work and will become an annual opportunity for families and young people to help shape future services.

Find out more and complete the survey on SENDLO. Easy Read and paper copy versions are also available through the survey page.

Deadline: 20 July 2026.
